I am currently a student at the University of Texas pursuing a major in computer science with a minor in business.

I started my programming journey on a whim when I first started college, because I particularly enjoyed scienced related subjects that involved problem solving, but I also had interests in creative design.

Growing up in an immigrant household, I've worked for my parents at their restaurants for most my life. I was once a server, kitchen expeditor, prep cook - sometimes all of these at the same time.

More recently, I've worked as a Java instructor and lecturer. I taught mostly high school students and college freshman in classes of 20 to 30, teaching them Java and programming fundamentals from no prior programming experience. Teaching is definitely something I would say I did not expect to enjoy as much I did.

Now, I'm an software engineer intern at Aristocrat Technologies.

I love to learn new things. Outside of code, I love photography, digital media creation, art, design, and following new technology.

Helped students implement programs consisting of several programmer defined data types and several hundred lines of code employing non trivial algorithms.
Guided students in personal one on one sessions as well as instructed medium to large capacity class sizes.
Developed my own curriculum that taught students Java from the ground up with no coding experience required.
Expanded communication and leadership skills through connecting with students, leading team building exercises, developing lesson plans, and communicating clear objectives and lectures.
